It's time to switch

In order to reduce the environmental impact of energy-using products, products which do not meet the requirements for energy efficiency, will be withdrawn from the market. The timetable for the closure of inefficient lamps means that standard TL-D lamps are no longer allowed. T12 lamps will be withdrawn from the market by the end of 2011 and mercury lamps at the end of 2014. Conventional fluorescent ballasts (EM) are no longer allowed after 2016.
